This homeowner had noticed a musty moldy smell coming from their crawl space. So they decided to investigate, they crawled into the crawl space and found evidence of mold and a couple puddles of water. They were concerned about how this could be impacting their health so they called a plumbing company to come out and take a look. The plumbers found no broken pipes or problems with the plumbing so they recommended the homeowners call us at Clean CrawlSpace Inc. We sent out one of our moisture control specialist to perform a free inspection. We found mold growth due to high humidity. The humidity is caused by the water and warmth of the crawl space. To fix this our moisture control specialist recommended full crawl space encapsulation. The homeowners were excited to solve this issue so they decided to go ahead with our moisture control specialist recommendations. In these pictures, you can see the steps we take to encapsulate. Bodega bay is a beautiful place to live! Most homes are vacation homes. The crawl space in a home is often overlooked until there is an issue. This home crawl space got infested with rodents. Unfortunately, in 2019 this home suffered from a major amount of water entering their crawl space. It is a cinderblock foundation home and water fully filled the home, as well as 3 inches above the floors. We came out with our pump truck and fully pumped out the water, then installed dehumidifiers to fully dry out the home and crawl space. Then we did some repair work to the home. To end it off we installed a sump pump and fully encapsulated the crawl space to be able to handle any water that may enter in the future. Job well done overall!
