Rainwater woes were plaguing Alexander L.'s Los Altos, California home. The culprit? A damp crawlspace accumulates standing water. Recognizing the potential damage a moist crawlspace can cause, Alexander prioritized the health of his investment and contacted Clean Crawlspace, the Bay Area’s specialists in crawlspace solutions.
Clean Crawlspace took a multi-pronged approach to address Alexander's concerns. They created a robust drainage system, complete with trenching to redirect water and a layer of rock and perforated pipe for optimal flow. To prevent future moisture intrusion, a SmartSump pump and CleanSpace vapor barrier system were installed, encapsulating the entire crawlspace and stopping ground moisture from seeping in. Finally, five dehumidifiers were strategically placed to actively remove any lingering moisture from the air, ensuring a consistently dry and healthy environment.
