Ms, South in South San Francisco, always noticed cold air coming into their home but could never identify where it was coming from. Finally, they noticed cold air coming from under the floor! The Crawl Space!

They called us at Clean CrawlSpace Inc and we sent out one of our moisture control specialist to inspect the crawl space. He found many gaps between the crawl space and the floor of the home. Also, the crawl space was very damp and cold with mold growing in it. The insulation was starting to hand and most of it was on the dirt in the crawl space. To solve this issue we cleaned and re-insulated the entire crawl space. Then we installed a 20 mil thick vapor barrier that acts as a barrier from the cold outside air and sealed it to the foundation.

Our crews came out and performed the work. Now Ms, South is happy to report there is no more cold air coming into the home and their heating and cooling costs were lowered because the home was better insulated!
