The First sump under our sons room (installed by clean crawlspace) has been going strong for 5 years. We expect the New one under the kitchen area (which replaces the cheap quality "joke" we had installed by a private plumber, earlier) will last just as long or longer.. My advice is to hire only someone who does this work every day as their specialty, like clean crawlspace !

Our home was built in 2000 and from the start our hard wood floors cupped. I'm planning on getting them redone but I'm told I should put down a moisture barrier first so I'm looking for a quote for that. The crawl space is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet with plenty of vents but always damp.
