Paul’s Olema, CA, home was plagued by a severe crawlspace water problem. The presence of standing water, along with muddy conditions and breaks in the foundation, had resulted in leaks into the house, causing the unpleasant smells of mold and mildew. In order to address this issue effectively, Paul called in the experts at Clean Crawlspace.
Clean Crawlspace’s comprehensive cleanup process by their moisture control expert’s was undertaken. Debris was removed, and a HEPA vacuum was utilized to filter small particles, ensuring cleaner air for the residents and relief for asthma and allergy sufferers. Additionally, drainage trenches were dug, surrounded by drainage rock, to channel any remaining water away. To further combat moisture, Delta matting was installed for added protection, and the highly efficient CleanSpace® Crawl Space Vapor Barrier system was implemented to seal off the space from external moisture. Completing the solution, a smart sump pump was installed in the lowest area of the crawlspace to efficiently remove any water and prevent future mold problems.
Now, Paul finally enjoys a moisture-free home and fully appreciates the beauty of his beloved Olema, CA, residence once more.
