Clean Crawlspace Inc. recently conducted a thorough inspection of a customer's crawl space and made some concerning discoveries. Upon entering the crawl space, our trained professionals identified evidence of both mold growth and a rodent infestation. The presence of mold indicated excess moisture and poor ventilation, while the rodent infestation posed health risks and potential damage to the property. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we immediately informed the customer of our findings and recommended swift action to address these issues.
During our inspection, we also noticed that one of the crawl space vents had been chewed, creating an entry point for a large animal. This explained how the rodents were gaining access to the crawl space. Our team alerted the customer to this specific vulnerability, emphasizing the importance of repairing or replacing the damaged vent to prevent further entry by pests. We advised the customer to consult a professional pest control company to handle the rodent infestation and to repair the damaged vent, as this was outside the scope of our services.
