Tom B of Bodega Bay CA manages multiple buildings in this beautiful area of the coast. Bodega Bay is incredible to visit but can be very damaging to homes. Coastal winds and moisture can easily invade the crawl space and cause damage. Too high humidity in the crawl space can lead to mold growth. This cold moist air also hardens the dirt floor. With hard dirt floors, your crawl space is more prone to flooding when the rains hit. This is what happened to Tom so he jumped on Google and found us at Clean CrawlSpace inc.
He called us and we sent out our best moisture control specialist to inspect the crawl space. Our Specialist found evidence of the crawl space being flooded with water and holding that water for long periods of time. He also found an abundance of mold growth. He recommended we fully encapsulate the crawl space to seal it off from the harmful air outside. Also to dig trenching and install a sump pump to ensure if water does enter the crawl space it runs to the pump and gets pumped out a safe distance from the home.
